Waqt is a prayer-time-based planning app ("the Service") offered by Mustafa Salman ("we", "us") for iOS, desktop, and the web, free of charge. By downloading or using Waqt you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you obtained Waqt through the Apple App Store, the minimum terms of Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also apply, and Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with the right to enforce them.
Everything in Waqt is an aid to worship, not a religious authority. Nothing in the Service constitutes a fatwa, religious ruling, or scholarly advice. For religious questions, consult a qualified scholar you trust.
Reminders and alarms depend on your operating system, which may delay, batch, or suppress notifications (Low Power Mode, Focus, force-quit, OS limits). Do not rely on the Service as your sole means of waking for or remembering any prayer or religious obligation.
Accounts are optional and use email sign-in codes. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Keep your email secure — anyone controlling your inbox can access your account. "Sign out everywhere" in Settings revokes all sessions. You may delete your account at any time in Settings; deletion of server data is immediate and irreversible.
You may not: disrupt or overload the Service; request sign-in codes for emails you do not control; probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service except via responsible disclosure to us; use the Service to store or transmit unlawful content; or resell or repackage the Service. We may suspend or terminate access that harms the Service or other users, with or without notice.
Your content (schedules, logs, notes, duas) remains yours. You grant us only the limited license needed to store and sync it at your direction, governed by the Privacy Policy. Export is available at any time in Settings. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is our property or licensed to us and is protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE — INCLUDING RELIANCE ON ANY CALCULATION, TIME, DIRECTION, LISTING, TEXT, OR NOTIFICATION — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (THE SERVICE IS FREE, SO ZERO) OR TEN U.S. DOLLARS (US$10). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the effective date above, and continued use constitutes acceptance. We may discontinue the Service or any feature at any time; export your data regularly. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at codes@waqtapp.net and attempt informal resolution for 30 days. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us regarding the Service.
